Are you looking for lucrative affiliate marketing programs that will complement your web design business or freelance blogging?  Then I have the most incredible list of affiliate programs for you.

I have personally vetted close to 200 programs that mostly sit in the WordPress/Web Design niche and have arrived at my final list of 77.  This is seventy-seven unique affiliate programs that you can apply for yourself and start promoting within a matter of hours, sometimes even minutes, depending on the approval process.

Some of these affiliate programs are part of affiliate networks such as ShareASale and CJ Affiliate which will possibly open the door to many more affiliate opportunities for you.

I have done all of the hard yards for you and have collected the direct links to each affiliate program’s application page.  I have also provided a detailed summary of everything you need to know about each program.  These details include:

  • Sign Up Page Link
  • Commission Details
  • Bonuses/Incentives
  • checkTiered Program
  • checkCookie Duration
  • checkPayment Withheld Period
  • checkMinimum Payment Amount
  • checkPayment Methods

WANT TO SEE THE 77 BEST AFFILIATE MARKETING PROGRAMS FOR FREELANCERS, BLOGGERS AND WEB DESIGNERS?

When making my decision to which affiliate programs to include in my list I considered a range of factors.  These factors are the exact same criteria I use when I personally decide which programs I will promote.  Each criteria is not created equally and may have a different weighting depending on the product.

For example, some products like WP Engine are well known brands in the WordPress community and their powerful branding requires less effort in promotion, whereas Flywheel is a lesser known host (although very much on the rise now) and needs more focus on brand familiarity.  WP Engine offers, on average, a higher commission on a referral whereas Flywheel is, as a product, on a par with WP Engine but has a cheaper entry price point so is more likely to appeal to those wanting high quality Managed WordPress Hosting on a tighter budget.

I have rated these criteria in an approximate order of priority.  Remember, product quality & branding comes first.  I highly recommend that you only promote products you actually use yourself OR you would use if you could.

A perfect example is SEO Powersuite – four great products, I have used them all before, in fact I own one of the products, Website Auditor but I would like their other three products but my pockets are not deep enough.  As I already own and use many other SEO tools, such as SE Ranking, Serpstat, KW Finder and SEMRush, I have less of need for this product at this point in time.  However, I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending SEO Powersuite’s products to someone wanting to improve their SEO, particularly the technical aspects of SEO and improving their backlink strategy.

The 7 criteria I use when deciding on products to promote:

1. Reputation / Use (or would use) Personally

2. Commission (The amount and whether it is once-off, recurring or an element of both)

3. Payment Conditions

4. Marketing Collateral

5. Cookie Duration

6. Approval Process

7. Affiliate Support

Are their any affiliate or referral programs that you recommend?  I would be keen to hear of others and if you have had any success.  Leave a comment below.
